Information that we collect
Account information. In order to send messages with our application, you are required to create an account and provide a username, email address and password. A date of birth is required to comply with US COPPA legislation relating to the protection of minors, for this reason users under 13 may not register.
Information that we get from your use of our services. We may collect information about the services you use and how you use them. This information includes:
We may collect device-specific information (such as your web browser and Internet Protocol address). We may associate your device identifiers with your account.
When you use our services or view content provided by FoxelBox, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server or local device logs. This may include details of how you used our service, Internet Protocol address, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your account. If the application crashes, we may receive device a crash report from Apple so that we can work to resolve these issues.
How we use information that we collect
We may use and disclose your Personal Information only as follows:
- To provide our service. We use information you provide to authenticate you and deliver message content to you and from you.
- To meet legal requirements. Such as complying with court orders, valid subpoenas and US COPPA legislation.
- To investigate and prevent fraud and spam We may use your information or identifiers while investigating reported cases to ensure the application maintains a safe environment.
FoxelBox accounts require a username and password to login. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. For security reasons, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can't see your passwords. We can't resend forgotten passwords either. We'll only reset them.
